Holly Lynch
President
Holly Lynch is the owner of The Season Events, a full-service wedding planning, event design, and catering company which she formed in 2007. Before beginning her own business, she worked in corporate marketing and graphic design. In 2014, The Season Events merged with a local caterer, Ray Harris, to be able to offer customers fine dining experiences at their events. The Season Events also provides bartending and transportation services for their events, and designs event-related stationery, such as invitations, wedding programs, place cards, and menu cards. Holly lives in Rome with her husband and 3 dogs.
Nicole Williams
Vice President of Events & Operations
Nicole Williams has been named Vice President of Events and Operations for The Season Events. Nicole has been an integral part of the team since the addition of catering services in 2015. Her career as an elementary school teacher offered extra time on weekends and during the summer where she assisted The Season Events as a server in the catering department. She quickly became an event coordinator and wedding director and eventually left teaching to join the team full time as an Event and Wedding Planner in 2017. During the pandemic and subsequent changes to the event industry, Nicole’s professionalism, compassion for her clients, and creative thinking helped propel the company forward. As a result of her leadership during such unprecedented times, the company is now more successful and better prepared for a strong future.
Elizabeth Hernandez Lanham
Executive Chef
Elizabeth Hernandez Lanham serves as our Executive Chef after being promoted from the role of Lead Chef. Elizabeth worked for 11 years at Barnsley Resort as their Garde Manger at the Rice House and then as Chef de Partie at Woodlands Grill. While at Barnsley, she completed their chef apprenticeship program. She then joined Ray Harris Catering as a chef in 2012 before his company joined The Season Events, where she has been an integral part of the company’s catering operations. As Lead Chef at The Season Events, Elizabeth has led and trained other cooks in the company’s recipes and methods. The consistency of her dishes have helped define the menu standards for the organization and her creativity and precision in the kitchen continue to set the bar for a successful (and delicious) future. In her updated role as Executive Chef, Elizabeth handles all of the sourcing for our growing menu.
Kaitlyn Mathis
Marketing Manager
Kaitlyn is our Marketing Manager and the creative mind behind everything you see on our social media. She first joined The Season Events as an intern in 2021 and, after earning her B.S. in Journalism and Emerging Media, became a full-time member of the team. Kaitlyn got married in 2023 and has enjoyed the full experience of being a Season Events bride! Aside from creating content or bringing our marketing vision to life, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their two fur babies.
Ashley McLendon
Office & Events Manager
As our Office & Events Manager, Ashley keeps
The Season Events, running smoothly with her organization, attention to detail, and creative touch. She brings experience from other office environments and has a B.S. in Business Administration. Ashley has a genuine passion for helping people, whether that’s supporting our team or working with clients to create a memorable event with delicious food that fits your style. If you come to our office, Ashley will be the smiling face who greets you as you walk in. When she’s not in the office, you can find her curled up with a good book, enjoying a musical, or spending time with her husband and their dogs.
Nick Tyson
Sous Chef
Nick is our Sous Chef. He joined our team in 2019, and he quickly became our dependable go-to guy for everything from double battered chicken tenders to sirloin and everything in between. If you have enjoyed our delicious Bread Pudding or Mini Apple Pie, Nick is the one who prepared it! When he’s not in the kitchen making our delicious Southern Buttermilk Biscuits, you can probably find him crafting the perfect coffee or with his wife and daughter.
Gerald Gates
Prep Chef
Gerald is one of our Prep Chefs. Just when we thought we were the life of the party, along came G! Gerald has 20+ years of experience working behind the scenes in various restaurants in Washington, Alabama, and Georgia. Before joining our team, Gerald worked for 3 years as the Prep and Grill Cook at Crawdaddy’s. The only thing more contagious than his laugh is his passion for great food!
Eddie Digsby
Grill Master
Meet Eddie. Like your favorite uncle, Eddie can make you smile with one of his colorful stories! But the best way he knows to make you happy is with one of his famous smoked briskets or a grilled beef tenderloin. Eddie Digsby has been with the team since 2015 and knows his way around a grill. We love having our own “Cousin Eddie” around here to keep us all smiling and well-fed.
